  1. Hi There:

Just saw your post of how seeing Il Divo sing “O Holy Night’ on the show the other nite. Not sure if you have been or are an Il Divo fan. “O Holy Night” is the first song I ever heard them sing. It’s been a year since I discovered them. Went into a Barnes & Noble in December 2005, looking for “some new type of Christmas music.” Not sure really what I was looking for. I saw the Il Divo Christmas Collection CD sitting on display. Somewhere in the back of my mind I remembered hearing that these guys were pretty good. No idea where I heard that, though. Anyway, went to the section where you can listen to the CD’s, placed the Christmas Selection in and began to listen. OMG, the first song was “O Holy Night.” When they got to “Fall on your knees,” I was hooked. Bought the CD right then and there. And to take it home and hear them sing “Ave Marie,” OMG OMG - the best version I have ever heard. Since then I’ve been hooked on Il Divo, have all their work, and seen them perform three time. Sorry for rambling. Just want to say that I got the same chills you did on hearing them sing “O Holy Night,” and I am sure we are not the only ones. Carlos is my favorite; he is the bariton of the group and has the most fantastic voice, but they are all excellent singers, to say the least. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU. Jan

  2. Hi, O Holy Night was the first song I heard Il Divo sing. It was on Marth Stewart December 1996, and I was hooked. Since then, I’ve told everyone I know about them and have given their music as gifts. Everyone that has recieved the gifts have loved the music and want more. I was able to see them at the Greek Theater for my birthday in June, and am saving my money to see them again next time they are in Southern California.
